Nice friendly looking dog. :) Love them! I see that you're using a Lumia 1020. Is it yours? With so many people buying, I get lost who actually bought or not...   ^-^

The dog belongs to my sister, she like the photo too (it's the new wallpaper on her Lumia 820) :)

I have the 1020 for quite a while now, preoreder it last year to get my hands on a free camera grip.
It arrived last october I think...

What about you, upgrading that 920 of yours anytime soon?
The 930 looks pretty awesome, I think I would go after that one :D

I'm currently ending my trial period with a Lumia 1020.  I also waited to see what Nokia would bring in the WP8.1 presentation but the Lumia 930 didn't completely convinced me. The new CPU looks powerful and the 20 Mpixels camera, if on par with Lumia 1520, should be quite good but, in the end, the 41 MPixels camera of the Lumia 1020 managed to define my decision...   So...  My Lumia 1020 should arrive in the end of this week...   :P   ;D

I can't blame you for choosing the 1020, if you are into photography it is the only choice!

Honestly I can't see any other phone on the market that would fit me better than the 1020... but somehow it just doesn't feel very high-end.
If you remove it's camera, all you have is a phone that feels more like "2012" than it should :(

Personally I don't care, it will be powerfull enough for the next few WP versions.
It's just that silly feeling of "it could have been so much more" :D

I was already pleased with the performance of the Lumia 920, even if I feel that WP needs to be more to achieve the same standards as iPhone or Android devices but, for now, a phone must have a stunning camera and, for that, the Lumia 1020 was the only choice to do.

WP8.1 will bring some nice innovations and with that camera, I think I will be happy for many months (until a new 41 Mpixel comes out).

I know what you mean but when I show the photos I've been taking with this phone, every friend of mine can't help to look a bit sad when they look back to their camera on their phones...   ^-^

no doubt about the photo quality, also fun to see all the jaws dropping and asking me "is that a camera on the back of your phone?" :))

and you are right, windows phone performs very well (even on the low-end handsets like the 620, etc.)... but some 3rd party apps (and the camera) could still use a little extra power.
overall it is good enough for me, the camera is a worthy trade-off for performance :Thumbs

i will be happy too, until the 1030 or whatever they will call it comes along O:-)
