This topic will serve to explain how to get the most of this Forum and the Gallery.

First of all, you must read our Forum Rules and Gallery Rules. Even if most of the times it's a boring thing to do, they will guide you on how to act on this site and will improve your experience as well of the remaining members.

    On the Gallery:

    1. On the main view of the Gallery, you will be able to see all the photo categories as well, more at the bottom, the Most Recent, Most Viewed and Top Rated photos. By clicking on "List All" you will access the photo already sorted.

    2. While posting a photo, not only add a Title but put something on the Description. It can be the story behind that photo, the place where you took the picture, the phone you used or/and the application used. By doing this, you will increase the value of your photo and help members understanding it better.

    3. While viewing photos, rate them and comment whenever you feel like it. I'm sure you appreciate others compliments and critics, that allow you to improve your skills, so re-tribute by doing the same.

    4. While viewing a picture, you might want to visit other photos from that specific member. You can do it by clicking this icon:

    5. You can share the photos you post or like via Facebook, Twitter and Google+. The Facebook share not always uploads the thumbnail of the photo. You can try hitting "F5" to refresh the window as most of the times, the thumbnail will be uploaded. We are trying to improve the Facebook Share function but it's something from the software maker and Facebook and, because of that, not directly depending on us.

    6. You can mark a photo as Favorite. This way, you can re-visit the photos you liked more instead of looking up for them in the Gallery.

    7. Do you like the photos from a special mobile photographer? You can add him as your Favorite Photographer and, with this, you will more easily follow his photos and you will also receive a notification when he posts a photo.

You can add someone as Favorite Photographer by click on "Add as Favorite Photographer" when seeing a photo from him:

By going to "My Pictures", you can see and manage your favorite photographers as well as to see who as you as favorite photographer:

    7. You can at any time edit your photo. Below the Ratings, there is an [Edit] option. By clicking on it, you will be able to edit the Title and the Description of your photo, in case you want to change or forgot to add something. To save the changes you need to click on the "Edit Picture" button located on the bottom and middle (while editing).

    8. There is a [Report Image] feature that you can use if you thing something inadequate with the photo uploaded by some member or any problem in the title or description.

    9. If you like to see some statistics around the Photos posted, you can access this link Gallery Stats. Here you can see the number of photos, how many views they had, the most viewed and commented, the Top Rated and also the top posters and Commenters

    On the Forum:

    1. While posting, you have a complete set of options, being most very user friendly. The most complex ones can be posting an image, a video or a link.

1.1 To post an image or video (Youtube or Vimeo), you just have to click on the respective button, for an image or or for an video, and paste the link inside the code that appears.

1.2 For posting links is not so obvious. The easiest way is first click on this icon (the text box can turn white), then write the name that you want to give the link, select the text written (it can be more than one word and have spaces), click on this icon and a pop up window will appear for you to paste the link there. Once there, just press "OK" and you're done. You can click again on the first icon and continue.
